LAST LISTS OF MY MAD MOTHER

The cast for Last Lists of My Mad Mother features Ginny Graham, Tian King and Vicki Giunta. The reading will take place at Theatre Double, 1619 Walnut Street in Philadelphia on Monday March 06 2000 at 8 pm. Doors will open at 7:30. A wine and cheese reception will follow the performance. The reading is for one night only. Admission is pay-what-you-can, and the space is wheelchair accessible.

This piece marks the beginning of

Julie Jensen (playwright) LAST LISTS OF MY MAD MOTHER was commissioned by Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles and has had successful productions in Key West, FL, Salt Lake City, UT, Hartford, CN, and the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland. It is currently running at the Hudson Guild Theatre in Los Angeles where it is Critics' Choice in the LA Times and BackStage West. It is being published by Dramatic Publishing.
THE LOST VEGAS SERIES was part of the Taper's New Work Festival and in its premiere production won the Joseph Jefferson Award in Chicago in l997 for Best New Work. In the summer of l998 it had a successful run in London, England.
WHITE MONEY won the Award for New American Plays and had successful productions in San Francisco, Baltimore, Salt Lake City, and Washington, D.C., among others.
Her latest work, TWO-HEADED, was commissioned by ASK Theatre Projects and was workshopped at Shenandoah Playwrights Retreat in Staunton, VA, the Common Ground Festival in Los Angeles, CA, and Mill Mountain Theatre in Roanoke, VA, where
it won the l999 New Play Competition. It is being produced this season by Salt Lake Acting Company in Salt Lake City
and the Women's Project in New York City.
Jensen is Director of the Graduate Playwriting Program at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
