NEW YORK RATS
This is an invitation to the 5th ANNUAL COLLECTIVE: UNCONSCIOUS
AUTO-HISTORICAL ANNIVERSARY EVENT. Join us for an evening of performance and
celebration. Featuring all of your Collective favorites; Lung of Ling,
Tuppy the Band, Rev. Jen, Big Mike, Al Ramos, Oliver Wyman, John McGovern,
Invert, Play Practice, The Tesla Coil and The Collective: Unconscious.
Walk thru the Collective Museum, dance, laugh, perform in the basement open
mic and bring a shirt for us to screen the Collective Gear onto.
SATURDAY APRIL 8TH 10PM. $10 to the public.

After struggling its way from Art Hole to Legitimate Artistic Venue for 5
years, this year Collective: Unconscious has plenty of reasons to celebrate.
Its self-produced techno-thriller,
Charlie Victor Romeo has enjoyed a huge success; and for the moment, it has
avoided becoming another victim of development on the Lower East Side. This
July they start a new lease--with a
43 percent increase in rent. The celebration will at the same time be a kind
of historical event, in which the evil spirits who haunt the space every
Halloween and the monsters that parade around the streets of downtown
Manhattan every fourth of July--computer-ridden people, garbage turned
robot, angels of pop culture's emerging present--will again manifest
themselves. Unless all the recent press has scared them off...join us you
freaky RATS.
