I know you meant well by this, and the first (of several) times I got this 
online petition, I was very concerned. Apparently, however, this is a VERY 
old email - like 3 or 4 years old or older - that has been circling around 
online for ages. So, even though we all want to support the NEA, NPR and PBS, 
this isn't a current concern (I've even heard that it was a hoax to begin 
with...).
