RAT (bindlestiffs) Bindlestiff Family Cirkus Update

<fontfamily><param>Geneva</param>The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus Update

Here are just a few notes on the Bindlestiffs...

The Cirkus has been experiencing email problems for the past few weeks,
though that is hopefully over. If you had problems contacting us, try
again.

Cirkus Seeks space for winter cabaret. The Bindlestiffs are looking
for a venue in Brooklyn or Manhattan for the fifth annual Winter
Cabaret season, scheduled to begin in January. Needs to be large
enough to spin a rope, crack a whip, and hang a trapeze (12 + feet).
If you know of any possible spaces, let us know immediately.

Dec 8 Philomena and Mr. Pennygaff will perform at the CBGB Gallery,
NYC at 9 pm.

Dec 11 Mr. Pennygaff and Philomena will be performing at a WFMU Benefit
at Smack Mellon, 56 Water St., Brooklyn, NY. More details coming
soon.

We are beginning to book and schedule the 2000 tour season. Looking
for large spaces--theaters, warehouses, etc. If you have any
suggestions, let us know.

The Roustabout Reporter, the annual newsletter of the Bindlestiff
Family Cirkus is looking for submissions for the January 2000 issue.
Needs to at least somewhat relate to circus, sideshow, variety, street
performers, clowns, revolutionaires, medicine shows, radicals, comedy,
burlesque, or daredevil stunts. A combination of two or more is even
better.

This Saturday at 10 am (eastern). We understand that 5 members of the
Bindlesiffs (Alton on the Spot, Scotty the Blue Bunny, Ted E,
Philomena, and Mr. Pennygaff) will be featured performing with fire in
Rock of Ages on VH-1.

Always seeking acts.
